Ahh brooklyn, what a crazy time. So when i moved into the building on the right of this quilt it had just been rebuilt after all three apartment buildings burned to the ground. For most of the time I lived there, the middle building was abandoned. Even though I'm a red eye flight away from my old stop on the L and that awesome sandwich shop, i still think of Williamsburg as one of my homes.
The middle building and the windows on the left building are made of chalkboard fabric.This allows you to erase what you wish and draw your own images and grafitti with chalk.
